Embedded Software

While the development platform runs in your browser, the Motorcortex runtime runs on the machine itself. It is responsible for real-time control, motion execution and hardware interaction.

Every target controller requires a one-time hardware-bound runtime license. This license activates the MCX-Core along with all included applications, features and libraries relevant for your system.
