Out of the box, the system already has a Motion Control Application and a Safety PLC on-board, so you can work safely with you EtherCAT robot or machine. When you are comfortable with using MOTORCORTEX, create your own control application and update the SafetyPLC with your own logic. No need to reverse-engineer our solution, we will provide you with the design documents so you can use the GCC as a reference design for your own hardware implementation. Extend your GCC with a 48V Application Case (AC-48). The AC-48 provides sufficient power for most EtherCAT Cobots/Robots and includes a breaking chopper to safely work with fast moving robots.

Integrated safety system

On top of being an advanced (motion) control system, GCC has a pre-programmed EtherCAT Safety PLC (FSoE) built-in and comes with an Emergency-Stop Button.

This way you can work safely with your machine right out of the box!

Moreover, the Safety System is easily extendable with an additional EtherCAT safety devices, even additional Safety PLCs on the same EtherCAT network.
